Internal Notice regard your rights as an individual to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) The GDPR issued in May 2018, protects every individual from any misuses of his/her personal data. This notice is informing you regard your rights as an individual in regard to your personal data with the Word of Life (henceforth WOL). The GDPR gives individuals greater control over their personal data and imposes new obligations on Private Authorities that collect, handle or analyse personal data. Definitions: Personal Data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. Dead persons are not under the law. Personal data can be an identified name and surname, I.D. Card, address, information related to finances, pictures and other. Data Subject means the information related to you as an employee and the information related to the clients/patients/suppliers that you are processing their information on a daily basis. Data Controller means the legal person/private authority/who determines the purposes and means of the processing of the personal data. Data Protection Officer means the officer that monitors compliance with the GDPR. Information related to your rights as an individual: You are entitled to know free of charge what type of information WOL is processing, who might be holding and processing information related to you as an individual, who has access to it, how it is held and kept up to date, for how long it is kept, and what the unit is doing to comply with the data protection regulation. Additionally, the data subject has the right to request that information be amended, erased, and the right to withdraw consents at any time. A complaint/request can be lodged directly to the Data Protection Officer. Any requests are to be made in writing and sent to the Data Protection Officer. You are requested to submit your name, surname, I.D card number and the type of request. The management aims to comply as quickly as possible with requests for access to personal data and will ensure that it is provided within a reasonable time unless there is a good reason for delay. When a request for access cannot be met within a reasonable time, the reason will be explained in writing. Personal data will be used for the purposes that it was originally collected.
